About Seatallan
Seatallan is a rounded, grassy fell in the western Lake District, unassuming in profile but covering a lot of ground. Its Marilyn status comes from the low col linking it to Haycock, its nearest higher neighbour to the north.
The name is thought to be Cumbric in origin, meaning something like Aleyn's high pasture.
