Caw Fell stands between Haycock and the Lank Rigg group in the western Lake District, spreading across a broad upland with Ennerdale on the north side and Blengdale on the south. By Lakeland standards it is a long way from any road end, though Blengdale and Bowness Knott car parks both give access.
