About Middle Fell

Middle Fell stands above the northern shore of Wastwater in the western Lake District, a satellite of the larger Seatallan behind it.

Greendale, near the foot of Wastwater, is the usual point of access. From the top the lake is laid out below with the Wastwater Screes forming the far side of the view.

Middle Fell is not counted as an independent hill in its own right. In prominence terms it belongs to Seatallan (693 m) — the nearest Marilyn you can reach from this summit without first dropping below its key col, 465 m.
