About Llanrwst station
Llanrwst station was opened by British Rail in 1989 on Denbigh Street near the centre of the market town, close to the local bus termini in Watling Street. It is on the Conwy Valley Line from Llandudno Junction to Blaenau Ffestiniog, 12 miles (19 km) south of the former. The town's original station of 1863, half a mile to the north, is now called North Llanrwst.

A hill 8 km away in a straight line can be a much longer day on the ground — and on rural lines the last train home leaves early and some stations are request stops with a handful of services a day. Check live times and facilities for Llanrwst before you commit, plan the route on a proper map, and give the daylight planner your real finish time.
