About Sheffield Pike

Sheffield Pike is a prominent intermediate top on one of the eastern ridges running out from Stybarrow Dodd, in the Helvellyn range of the Eastern Fells. It divides the Glencoyne and Glenridding valleys, standing well above both, and looks down on Ullswater.

The name may mean the peak above the sheep fold. The summit is at 676 metres, and the fell appears on the Wainwright, Hewitt, Nuttall, Birkett, Synge and Fellranger lists.
