About High Pike (Scandale)

This High Pike is the Eastern Fells one, five kilometres north of Ambleside, and is regularly mixed up with the fell of the same name in the Northern Fells near Caldbeck.

It is sometimes called Scandale Fell, though strictly that name belongs to the high ground at the head of Scandale rather than to the summit itself.
