About Heron Pike (Rydal)

Two kilometres east of Grasmere, Heron Pike belongs to the Fairfield group within the Lake District's Eastern Fells.

It is easily confused with the other Heron Pike, the one forming part of Sheffield Pike — and by coincidence the two are exactly the same height. This one is listed as a Wainwright, Nuttall, Birkett and Synge.
