About Waun-oer

Waun-oer sits some four miles south-west of Aran Fawddwy, among the Dyfi hills, a subgroup of the Cadair Idris group in southern Eryri. It is reckoned a top of Maesglase.

The summit is an uneven grassy plateau crowned by a trig point. Cribin Fawr adjoins it to the east and Mynydd Ceiswyn to the south, with Cadair Idris to the north and Tarren y Gesail to the west.
