About Gwaun Lydan

Gwaun Lydan is the top at the end of Aran Fawddwy's south ridge, in the southern part of Eryri in Gwynedd. It is a small boggy plateau, its highest point a peat hag with a few stones on it.

The view takes in the eastern face of Aran Fawddwy with Creiglyn Dyfi beneath, and Esgeiriau Gwynion and Llechwedd Du to the north. Pen yr Allt Uchaf lies east. Gwaun Lydan is listed as a Nuttall at 632 m.
