Bowfell — Bow Fell on Ordnance Survey maps — is a pyramid-shaped mountain in the Southern Fells, at the centre of the Lake District. It is the eighth-highest of the Lakeland mountains and among the most walked, and Alfred Wainwright included it in his best half dozen fells.
