About Bowfell North Top

Bowfell North Top is a Nuttall and Synge summit on Bowfell, the pyramid-shaped mountain at the heart of the Southern Fells and mapped by the Ordnance Survey as Bow Fell.

The parent mountain is the eighth highest in the Lake District and among the most walked, and Wainwright placed it in his 'best half dozen' Lakeland fells. The North Top is a separately listed rise on that same mountain rather than a hill apart from it.
