About Mynydd Perfedd
Mynydd Perfedd belongs to the Glyderau, with Elidir Fawr as its parent peak to the south, Carnedd y Filiast to the west and Foel-goch and Y Garn to the east.
Between it and Carnedd y Filiast the ground drops in dramatic cliffs to the east, among them the well-known Llechen Cytrolar. A shelter cairn marks the top, which looks across to the north-eastern face of Foel-goch and to the Carneddau. Mean annual temperature is around 6 Celsius.

Finding the summit
10m SSE of shelter.
The recorded summit point is rock spike. That distinction matters on broad or flat tops, where the obvious cairn is not always the true high point.

Which hill this one belongs to
Mynydd Perfedd is not counted as an independent hill in its own right. In prominence terms it belongs to Elidir Fawr (924 m) — the nearest Marilyn you can reach from this summit without first dropping below its key col, 793 m.
Grouping is by prominence alone: a summit belongs to the nearest higher Marilyn it connects to without a deeper intervening col. Over a large massif that can gather hills no one would walk in a single day, and which few would describe as parts of the same mountain — it is a measure of independence, not a suggested route.
