About Moel yr Ogof

Moel yr Ogof is a subsidiary summit of Moel Hebog in Snowdonia, paired with the slightly lower Moel Lefn. Its distinguishing feature is industrial: a trial mine for asbestos was driven at the summit after a thin seam of white asbestos was found there, but the quantity proved too small to be worth working commercially.
