Loft Crag

About Loft Crag

Loft Crag rises above Great Langdale, some nine kilometres west of Ambleside. With Harrison Stickle and Pike of Stickle alongside it, it forms the Langdale Pikes.

Seen from around Elterwater village, that group makes one of the most familiar skylines in the National Park. Loft Crag itself reaches 682 metres and counts as a Wainwright, Nuttall, Birkett, Synge and Fellranger fell.
