About Ingleborough
Ingleborough is the second-highest mountain in the Yorkshire Dales and one of the Yorkshire Three Peaks alongside Whernside and Pen-y-ghent, so much of its traffic comes from walkers doing all three in a round.
A large part of the hill is designated both a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a National Nature Reserve. It also hosts Wild Ingleborough, a multi-agency project working to improve the landscape for wildlife and for people.
