About Honister Crag

Honister Crag, also known as Black Star, sits next to the higher Fleetwith Pike in the western Lake District. Its case for separate standing rests on Nuttall status: at 634 m it clears 2,000 feet with at least 15 m of relative height over its neighbour.

The crag is of interest to rock climbers, and the fell also appears on the Birkett and Synge lists.
