About High Rigg

Roughly three miles southeast of Keswick, High Rigg sits in an unusual spot: higher fells ring it on every side, yet no obvious ridge ties it to any of them. That isolation is what earns it Marilyn status, since a Marilyn requires at least 150 metres of topographic prominence.

The fell is also known as Naddle Fell, and at around 356 metres it is one of the smaller summits of the eastern Lake District. Alongside the Marilyn listing it appears as a Wainwright, a Birkett, a Synge, a HuMP and a Fellranger.
