About Great Coum
Great Coum lies within the Yorkshire Dales but falls administratively in Westmorland and Furness. Its highest point is in Dent parish, though the boundary with Casterton parish runs across the summit. Crag Hill, Green Hill and Gragareth are its neighbours.
Approaches run up from Dent to the north, or more briefly from the minor road to White Shaw Moss, some 4 km with around 210 m of ascent. It appears on the Marilyn, Hewitt, Nuttall, HuMP, Simm, Buxton & Lewis, Bridge and Clem lists.
