About Y Garn

Y Garn forms the eastern end of the Nantlle Ridge in Eryri and is reckoned a top of Mynydd Drws-y-Coed rather than a separate mountain. Its north face falls away in steep cliffs.

The summit area is the high point of a broad rocky plateau, on which two large shelter cairns stand. At 633 m it is listed as a Nuttall.
