About Pen Pumlumon Arwystli

Pen Pumlumon Arwystli is the second highest summit of the Plynlimon massif, part of the Cambrian Mountains in Ceredigion. Its grassy top carries three large ancient cairns.

Views run south to Rhos Fawr, Drygarn Fawr and Pen y Garn, and north to Aran Fawddwy, Glasgwm, Tarrenhendre and Tarren y Gesail. On the boggy plateau below the summit to the north lies the source of the River Severn, Britain's longest river.
