About Mynydd Tarw

Mynydd Tarw is a subsidiary summit of Cadair Berwyn in north-east Wales, sitting on the Powys–Wrexham boundary. A large shelter cairn marks the top.

The outlook is wide, taking in the lower northern and western Berwyns including Pen Bwlch Llandrillo, with Cadair Berwyn, Godor, Moel yr Ewig and Foel Wen also in sight. The hill formerly carried a subsidiary top, Rhos, which has since been deleted from the Nuttall list.
