Latrigg

About Latrigg

Latrigg is among the lowest fells in the Lake District at 369 m, and among the most walked, sitting directly above Keswick with Borrowdale opening up below. It is the least mountainous of the Skiddaw group, its summit almost entirely free of rock.

Parts of the slopes are wooded and logging has been under way. A single tree a little south of the top shows in silhouette on the approach to Keswick from the west along the A66. The fell also has petrified trees on its summit.
