Fan Llia

About Fan Llia

Fan Llia is a subsidiary summit of Fan Fawr in the Fforest Fawr part of Bannau Brycheiniog, and like the rest of those uplands it falls within Powys. The hill is a broad ridge running south-south-west to north-north-east, topping out at 632 m.

North of the main top is Fan Dringarth at 617 m, and the broad northern ridge is finally cut off by the cliffs of Craig Cwm-du. Several features of archaeological interest lie on the flanks, including a number of house platforms.
