About Bwlch y Ddwyallt
Bwlch y Ddwyallt is the name generally used for the high point of the plateau of Gwaun Cerrig Llwydion, in the eastern Brecon Beacons. The ground reaches 754 m on the plateau's northern rim, above the head of Cwm Cwareli.
The name sits oddly on a summit, since the Welsh 'bwlch' normally denotes a col or pass between mountains rather than a top.
