Blawith Knott

About Blawith Knott

Blawith Knott rises to around 246 metres in the southern Lake District near Woodland, and has a chapter to itself in Wainwright's The Outlying Fells of Lakeland. His clockwise round starts from the fell road to the south-west and also picks up Tottlebank Height at 236 metres.

He rated it a magnificent viewpoint, and the reason is the split outlook: Lake District fells fill the northern panorama, while eastward and southward on a clear day the Howgill Fells, Whernside and Ingleborough come into view.
