Loch Lomond & The Trossachs: seasonal camping byelaws

In defined Camping Management Zones (roughly 1 March – 30 September) camping requires a permit or use of a designated site, despite the general Scottish access right. Zones cover parts of east Loch Lomond, Trossachs lochshores and other honeypot areas.

General position for Scotland — local byelaws, seasonal restrictions and closures can override it. Full details: access rights in Scotland · check another location.

Finding the summit

Surveyor's note

summit outcrop is 7m to NW of cairn. note cairn at top of gully 35m E at NN 27790 09830 is 0.52m lower.

The recorded summit point is rock outcrop near small cairn. That distinction matters on broad or flat tops, where the obvious cairn is not always the true high point.
