About Uamh Bheag
Uamh Bheag is the highest hill of the Glen Artney Hills, standing immediately south of the Highland Boundary Fault in the Central Lowlands. The summit is twin-topped, the lower eastern top carrying the trig point.
Which of the two was higher stayed unsettled until 2017, when a survey showed the west top to be about 2.4 m the taller, resolving where the Donald and Graham status belonged. The true summit is marked by a cairn with a face carved into a wooden fencepost projecting from it. The hill is usually taken together with neighbouring Beinn nan Eun from Glen Artney.
