About Ben Vorlich
Ben Vorlich, Beinn Mhurlaig in Gaelic, stands above the southern shore of Loch Earn and Ardvorlich in the Southern Highlands, with Stuc a' Chroin a short way to the south. Loch Lubnaig bounds the ground to the west and Callander lies south.
Because it stands out so clearly from the low ground of the Central Belt, it is among the most frequently seen of all the Munros. Ascents usually start at Ardvorlich on the north side, with a path running up Glen Vorlich before turning for the northern ridge.
