About Stob Coire Creagach
Stob Coire Creagach is the highest top of Binnein an Fhidhleir, one of the Arrochar Alps, above the Butter Bridge on the north side of the A83 and facing Beinn an Lochain across the glen. The mountain lies in Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park.
Several tops make up the hill: Creag Bhrosgan at 770.3 metres, an unnamed one at 748 metres, Binnein an Fhidhleir itself further west at 811 metres, and Stob Coire Creagach, which took over as the Marilyn summit in April 2006 at 817 metres and was resurveyed at 817.8 metres in August 2021. Despite Stob Coire Creagach being the high point, the name Binnein an Fhidhleir is normally applied to the whole mountain.
