About Moel Fferna

Moel Fferna is the most northerly outpost of the Berwyn range, standing in Denbighshire at 630 m. Deep heather covers the summit, where there is a shelter cairn; the trig point that once marked the top has been destroyed.

Southwards the ridge continues to Pen Bwlch Llandrillo and then Cadair Bronwen. The hill is the highest point of the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and is a Hewitt, Nuttall, HuMP and Simm.
