Known variously as Moel yr Henfaes and, in the Nuttall list, as Pen Bwlch Llandrillo Top, this summit belongs to the Berwyn range of north Wales. It sits between the higher Berwyn tops to the south, Cadair Berwyn among them, and Moel Fferna to the north.

The top is a small rocky outcrop marked by a pile of stones, rising from a wide expanse of deep heather moorland. It qualifies as a Hewitt, Nuttall and Simm at 618 m.
