Part of the Ben Lawers group above the north shore of Loch Tay, Meall Corranaich rises to 1,067 m in the Grampian Mountains of Perthshire. The Gaelic form of the name is recorded as Meall Choire Inich.
Approaches are usually made from the north-west out of Glen Lyon. Aberfeldy lies away to the east. As well as its Munro status, the hill is listed as a Marilyn, HuMP, Simm and Murdo.
