Low Fell

About Low Fell

Low Fell looks south over Loweswater and is bordered to the north by its neighbour Fellbarrow. Ascents usually begin from the villages of Loweswater or Thackthwaite.

Much of the fell is taken up by grassed enclosures, with a few rocky outcrops near the top, and the slopes on the south and east sides are fairly steep. At 422.5 m it is a Marilyn as well as a Wainwright.
