About Ettrick Pen

Ettrick Pen is the highest of the Ettrick Hills, a Southern Uplands group, and lies south-west of the village of Ettrick on the boundary between the Scottish Borders and Dumfries and Galloway. It is a remote hill, but a conspicuous one, recognisable from many directions.

The Southern Upland Way crosses it, and an ancient cairn tops the summit.
