About Cul Beag
Set in Coigach in the Northwest Highlands, Cùl Beag stands about 15 km north of Ullapool. Its immediate neighbours give it context: Cùl Mòr rises to the north, while the lower but much more photographed Stac Pollaidh lies to the west.
The hill sits within the Drumrunie Estate, which passed into community ownership through a buyout in 2005 and is now held by the Assynt Foundation. It is counted as a Corbett, a Marilyn, a HuMP and a Simm.
