About Ben Armine
Deep in the Sutherland interior, well north of Lairg, Ben Armine gives its name to a range of hills lying south-east of Ben Klibreck. It is the best known summit of that group, though not the highest: its southern neighbour Creag Mhor edges above it.
Remoteness is the defining feature here. This is inland far-northern Scotland, a Graham and Marilyn in country with very little else close by.

Finding the summit
cairn 100m SSE at 69519 27235 is probably lower; group of 3 small cairns 20m WNW at NC 69469 27334 is lower.
The recorded summit point is cairn. That distinction matters on broad or flat tops, where the obvious cairn is not always the true high point.
