About Hope station
Hope station lies between the villages of Hope and Brough in the Derbyshire Peak District, 14¾ miles west of Sheffield and around 0.6 miles east of Hope itself. It also serves Bradwell and Castleton, the latter a notable tourist spot famous for its caverns and the gemstone called Blue John. A short distance to the west is Earle's Sidings, the exchange yard for a privately owned two-mile branch line to the Hope Cement factory and quarry south of Hope village. Services are operated by Northern Trains.
