About Banavie station
Banavie station is on the West Highland Line just north of Fort William, between Corpach and Fort William, serving the village of Banavie — though it is in fact much closer to Caol. To continue to the next station at Corpach, trains must cross the Caledonian Canal at Neptune's Staircase, a popular tourist attraction. ScotRail manages the station and provides all services.

A hill 8 km away in a straight line can be a much longer day on the ground — and on rural lines the last train home leaves early and some stations are request stops with a handful of services a day. Check live times and facilities for Banavie before you commit, plan the route on a proper map, and give the daylight planner your real finish time.
