About Sugar Loaf
The Sugar Loaf (Welsh: Mynydd Pen-y-fâl) is a 596-metre hill in Monmouthshire, Wales, rising two miles north-west of Abergavenny within Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. It is the southernmost of the summit peaks of the Black Mountains.
The hill was given to the National Trust by the suffragette Lady Rhondda.
