This Sgùrr nan Coireachan lies near the head of Glen Dessarry, in the Lochaber part of the Northwest Highlands and far from any road.
Steep, with rocky and grassy slopes mixed together, it is frequently walked as part of the Sgurr na Ciche ridge. Approaches generally begin at Loch Arkaig to the east.
