About Sgurr Mor
Steep and rugged, this Sgùrr Mòr rises on the southern side of Loch Cuaich in Lochaber, in the Northwest Highlands. It is reckoned among the most remote Munros in Scotland and among the hardest to get to, which shapes any plan for it far more than the summit itself does. The usual approach comes from the head of Loch Arkaig to the south. In Gaelic the name appears as An Sgùrr Mòr.
