About Great Worm Crag
Great Worm Crag rises north of Ulpha in the south-western Lake District, reaching about 430 metres. Wainwright's chapter in The Outlying Fells of Lakeland describes a clockwise circuit from the fell road between Ulpha and Eskdale Green.
Mark Richards, in the Fellranger series, calls it a lovely place to roam and blessed with spacious views, and sets out two approaches from the south-west along with one from the north-west by way of Birkerthwaite.
