About Cairn of Claise

Cairn of Claise is a Grampian hill lying about three miles from the Glenshee Ski Centre, near Braemar, on the Aberdeenshire and Angus boundary within the Cairngorms National Park. Its name is understood to mean 'hill of the hollows'.

The summit reaches 1,063.1 m with a prominence of 118.9 m, enough for Munro status alongside its HuMP, Simm and Murdo listings.
