About Cadair Berwyn North Top

Also known as Cadair Berwyn (Old Top), this trig-pointed summit is a top of Cadair Berwyn and shares second place in the Berwyn range with Moel Sych.

It was long regarded as the range's high point until the Ordnance Survey found a top between it and Moel Sych standing five metres higher at 832 m, now named Cadair Berwyn and listed by the Nuttalls as Cadair Berwyn New Top. The North Top remains the highest ground in the modern Denbighshire council area, possibly jointly with Moel Sych, though not of the historic county.

Cadair Bronwen lies to the north-east; Tomle, Foel Wen and Mynydd Tarw to the south-east.
