The name is also attached to a London Underground station planned for the district, at the junction of the A41 and A411, which was never built.

Classification history: The current Harrow/Herts boundary along Common Road/Magpie Hall Rd was established in April 1993. The Harrow/Herts (1965-1993) and Middx/Herts (1889-1965) boundaries ran slightly N. 506ft spot ht by the boundary stone. Harrow top 175m SE (hill 5467)..
