Blackcraig Hill belongs to the Carsphairn and Scaur Hills, part of the Southern Uplands, and lies south-east of New Cumnock in Ayrshire.
It is a craggy hill, and ascents generally begin on the western side from Glen Afton. It is a Graham, a Donald and the top of its council area.
