About Beinn Lair

Beinn Lair has two quite different faces. Towards Loch Maree the ground rises in gentle slopes to the 859 m summit; on the northern flank the mountain drops away in a wall of huge cliffs straight into the glen below.

It lies on the Letterewe estate, on the north-eastern shore of Loch Maree in Wester Ross, within the Northwest Highlands.
