About Aonach Eagach - Sgorr nam Fiannaidh

Sgorr nam Fiannaidh, at 967 metres, is the higher of the two Munro summits on the Aonach Eagach, the notched ridge that forms the northern wall of Glen Coe. The other is Meall Dearg at 952 metres, and the ridge itself runs east to west for several miles.

The crest is very rocky and scrambling ability is needed to follow it. The flanks on either side are treacherous, with steep grass and scree concealing steeper ground that ends in cliffs to both north and south.
