About Sgurr a' Gharaidh
Sgurr a' Gharaidh rises in Wester Ross to the north of Loch Carron, the highest summit in that northern area, though its craggy north face is the more notable feature. Lochcarron is the nearest village.
The hill connects to Glas Bheinn at 728 m, whose slopes run down towards the golf course and graveyard by East Church on the A896 along the loch. Further east stand the grey top of An Ruadh-stac at 892 m and the red Maol Chean-dearg at 933 m.
