About Mynydd Nodol
Mynydd Nodol is a 539-metre hill in Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, within the community of Llanycil in Gwynedd, North Wales. It rises above the southern shore of the reservoir Llyn Celyn, about four kilometres north-east of its higher neighbour Arenig Fawr, and provides the backdrop to the view from the A4212 car park beside the dam. To the east the hill throws down a broad shoulder.

The recorded summit point is rock by cairn. That distinction matters on broad or flat tops, where the obvious cairn is not always the true high point.
